VAM SYSTEMS is currently looking for Mobile Content Manager for our Bahrain operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:

Experience
• Minimum 5 years experience in Product Management, preferably with experience in mobile content management.
• Minimum 10 years experience in telecommunications.
• Business planning experience.
• Proven track record in managing project managers and staff support groups.
• Working awareness of current and future competitive environment.
• Understanding of regulatory environment.
Responsibilities
• Develop and manage Mobile Content & devices business plans, budgets, and performance including total products quality, SLA’s, and identification of target gaps and inconsistencies.
• Produce unique and innovative mobile content, pricing adjustments and price offers to grow usage and revenues.
• Closely work with the content providers and device suppliers to ensure that sales targets are met and growth levels are managed according to plans.
• Manage market position, customer expectations and target markets.
• Maximise content life-cycle value through managing and controlling mobile channels & distribution performance, initiating/ monitoring related Marcom activities, Bundling/Packaging of various content and devices, and controlling withdrawal and substitution at the end of the life cycle.
• Manage, identify and plan the requirements for network and IT teams.
• Manage and control new content and devices developments and minor enhancements with the aim of increasing revenue and enhancing content performance & customer satisfaction.
• Co-ordinate all activities related to the value chain, including sales & Marketing, provisioning and delivery, customer support services, Network Management, etc.
• Maintain close relationship with content providers, devices suppliers, partners and alliances.
• Manage and Monitor the Product Family Management plans.
• Manage the financial performance of the mobile content product family against the set of targets and take corrective actions as needed.
• Enhance and improve content management/development skills and practices through training and developing the content and devices team members and the working procedures.
• Assess staff performance, identify strength/weaknesses and accordingly recommend improvements through carrying out Performance Management Review, effective supervision, team leading, etc.
• Control the Operating and Capital expenditure to ensure that available resources are utilised to the maximum benefit of the business.
• Review the performance of the Sales and Delivery Channels, both internal and external and recommend corrective actions if needed.
• Keep abreast with the latest mobile content and devices technologies and market trends.
Qualifications
• BA in Business Studies / Marketing.
• MBA in Marketing preferred.
