VAM SYSTEMS is currently looking for AUTOCAD Electrical Draftsmen for our Qatar operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions

Scope of Supply and Service
Nature of work
1. The hires person should be capable of producing high quality Electrical drawings in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical following company Standards, specifications and instructions from Engineer. He should be capable of producing Wiring, Drawings, Panel drawings, circuit diagrams etc.
2. He should be aware of AutoCAD customization specific to Electrical and
3. comfortable to work with AutoCAD electrical databases
4. Good Interface and integrating knowledge specifically relating to Electrical drawings storing data in different databases.
5. Interact closely with IT Technical Solutions Group and Electrical Engineers to ensure proper migration of drawings and generation of reports from the database
6. Good Knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical General Symbols and templates
7. Good Knowledge of Electrical Manufacturer CATALOGs.
8. All hard copy drawings available in Raster format to be converted to AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical based on standard templates and database.
9. Work with Technical Document Management Software (TDMS) on Cimage after in-house training.
10. To ensure the technical quality/ quality control for document as per Quality Management System.
11. Knowledge of Web Integration and Report Building an added asset (optional)
Scope of Services
Drafting Services
To produce and update Electrical engineering drawings (in AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical format) such as
• Cabling and Wiring diagrams, wiring connection specifications
• Schematic Diagrams
• Layout Drawings
• Management of Drawings
• Prepare bill of materials
Required Qualification and Experience:
1. Diploma in Electrical Engineering
2. Advanced drafting knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical preferably knowledge of working on version 2009
3. Minimum 5 years project experience, preferably in Fertilizer/petrochemical plants in drafting activities.
4. Computer literate well acquainted with office programs as MS Word, Excel, MS Access etc and very well versed in using AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical.
5. Good command of written and spoken English.
6. High awareness and knowledge on safety procedures in live plant.
Terms and conditions:
Joining time frame: Maximum 4 weeks
